    The Story

From the jungles of Hilo on the Big Island, Hawaii, Chef Lee Anderson and her husband, Carl Anderson with their two best friends hand-picked the great Acacia Koa tree that would one day become the centerpiece of the Grand Ballroom at Sugar Beach Events. Chopped down, shipped, and crafted with their own hands, it remains a symbol of their lifelong friendship and Hawaii’s natural beauty.

  • Our kitchen is a Maui County certified commercial kitchen.

  • Our venue parking lot has 41 parking spaces available, as well as two entrances and exits that make driving or shuttling guests easy.

  • We are an ADA Compliant facility, and offer wheelchair access on the east side of the venue.
